Become a part of the healthcare laboratory team:  Get training in all aspects of specimen collection and processing.  Learn to work safely and efficiently to obtain specimens, blood collection by venipuncture, specimen handling, labeling and sorting, and test preparation.  Enhance your skills in communication and increase your employability.  Gain vital training in emergency procedures in a lab setting.  These classes will be taught in a four week lecture setting at Marietta High school and one week off campus lab setting.  All material and lab fees are included.

National Certification Exam (optional, additioal exam fee $105 + $25 sit fee)  Nov 04 tuesday 6-7pm


We are affiliated with NHA for national certification, they are approved and recogniized by most states. Most hospitals, private practices, organizations throughout the country require National Certification.
NHA is the benchmark in professional healthcare certification. The healthcare field continues to have the fastest growing segment of our nation's economy.

Although Medical Assisting and EKG technician are not offered by course, we do offer a student that holds a certificate through an accredited school through NHA, to be able to sit for the exam. Check with your school or NHA 1800

Refresher courses are offered:
1) 2 day course includes lab
2) 1 exam
3) $250.00
4) must provide present phlebotomy   certificate or certification license

A study packet will be mailed to you so you will be prepared to take a written refresher test on the lecture day you choose.

Once your 2 day classes are completed satisfactorly, you will recieve a certificate of completion for resertification. You will be able to sit for the national exam.
